Every piece we make carries one symbol. No characters, no loud graphics, just a single kanji or crest you can actually explain when someone asks about your shirt. Here is what each one means.
The Kanji Crest line
絆 Kizuna: Bond
The ties between people that hold when it counts: family, friends, your squad. One of the most loved words in Japanese because it is about loyalty, not romance.
力 Chikara: Strength
Plain physical and inner strength. The shape of the character comes from a plow, the tool that took real force to use. A good one for the gym.
愛 Ai: Love
Love in the widest sense: for people, for your craft, for what you believe in.
龍 Ryu: Dragon
In Japanese legend the dragon is a water spirit tied to power, wisdom and good fortune rather than destruction.
獅 Shishi: Lion
Shishi are the guardian lions you see in pairs outside shrines and temples. They stand for courage and protection.
Fire, Water and Tiger
The elements and the tiger round out the line: drive and intensity, calm that adapts to anything, and fearless focus.
The new crest drop
忍 Shinobi: Endure
Before it meant a hidden warrior, 忍 meant to endure, to keep going quietly when things get hard. The character is a blade over a heart.
侍 Samurai: One who serves
The word comes from a verb meaning to serve. It points to discipline and loyalty more than fighting.
魂 Tamashii: Soul
The spirit you bring to everything you do. On our crest it sits under two crossed katana.
影 Kage: Shadow
Move quiet and let the work speak. Paired with a simple four-point star.
自由 Jiyu: Freedom
Freedom, written with the characters for self and reason. Paired with a compass rose: chart your own course.
波 Nami: Wave
Our wave crest uses seigaiha, a centuries-old Japanese pattern of overlapping waves that stands for calm, steady strength.
Why only symbols?
We love anime, and we wanted clothes that carry that feeling without putting characters on your chest. A single symbol looks clean at the gym, at work and on the street. It also means our pieces have no faces or figures on them, which matters to a lot of our customers.
